What we offer
The Asia New Zealand Foundation Leadership Network is a global professional network at the forefront of developing and maintaining strong links between Asia and New Zealand. The network is an established group of talented young professionals who are dedicated to the future of New Zealand-Asia relations.
The aim of the Leadership Network is to nurture the professional development of its members. The network, which began in 2007, now has 425 members. About a third of those reside offshore.

Leadership Network members have access to various internships and professional development opportunities.
We provide opportunities that allow you to:

Key people
Adam McConnochie
Adam manages the leadership and entrepreneurship programmes where he equips the next generation of Kiwi leaders and entrepreneurs to thrive in Asia. Adam has a MA in history from Victoria University, where he specialised in Indian politics. Before joining the Foundation, Adam worked in the public service in Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. He is passionate about the development of South and Southeast Asia and is strategic adviser and board member at start-up charity, Just Peoples and a director and health and beauty start-up, Bubble Fabulous.
Masina Taulapapa, project officer (Leadership)
A born and bred Wellingtonian, Masina is obsessed with good food, great coffee, and the colour black. She has a BA (International Relations and Art History) and BCom (International Business) from Victoria University, and a LTCL Diploma (Piano Performance) from Trinity College London. After spending most of 2015 winging her way across Asia and Europe towards the Rugby World Cup, Masina returned to Wellington and joined the Foundation mid-2016.
